#1 Wedding Dress Consignment Shop in Federal Way
After you get married, your gown typically sits in a closet or a box the rest of its life. Why not give it another chance to bring the same joy it brought you to another bride?
Consigning your pre-owned wedding gown gives a new bride a chance to be able to wear a designer gown that she may not have been able to necessarily afford. It’s eco-conscious, puts some money back into your pocket and is all around a great way to get the most wear out of one of the larger investments of your life!
Selling your wedding dress on Craigslist or any other online platform leads to nothing but obstacles, including strangers visiting your home or meeting up at a coffee shop, only to have them try on your precious gown in a small, probably dirty bathroom. Don’t go out of your way to sell your gown to just anyone, let the dress consignment team at Adore Bridal Boutique in Federal Way do the work for you! We’ll find the perfect bride that will love your gown again, and will earn you a check for it!
Common Questions About Consigning with Us:
Do you buy the dress from me?
We do not buy the dress from you initially, but rather we consign it so when your gown is purchased, you will earn some of your investment back.
What is your commission?
Our commission is 50% of the resale price. While we do give you guidance on how to price your gown, you ultimately get to decide its resale price.
Does the dress need to be dry cleaned?
Yes, please! It will definitely help the dress sell faster.
- The dress must be newer than five years old.
- The dress must have no rips, stains, discoloration or tears. You wouldn’t want to wear a dress that has any sort of damage, and neither would a new bride!
- The dress must be an authentic designer brand. We do NOT accept David’s Bridal brand gowns.
- The dress must have been over $700 retail value when originally purchased.
What do I need to do to consign my dress with you?
Please email us at email@example.com with a current photo of the dress. We will gladly communicate with you to schedule a consignment consultation if we decide to accept the dress.
